Synopsis: A story about Shanghai citizens is told from the perspective of Feng Xiaoqin and Gu Qingyu, two sisters-in-law who work through their differences to grow closer in the quagmire of life. It has been ten years since Feng Xiaoqin (Hai Qing) came to the Gu family while pregnant with child to become their new daughter-in-law.
